No On Prop 8 Peaceful Protest & Candlelight Vigil - Long Beach, Saturday 11/29 7pm
Long Beach Performing Arts Center, 300 E. Ocean Blvd., Long Beach

I propose a truce. An Accord. Amnesty.

The primaries are over and the verdict seems to be in. I am as big a Hillary supporter as they come and I am not giving up in her in any way. I am however very interested in stopping the acrimony and the bickering back and forth that we have ALL had a hand in. I've engaged in it and so have you. We've been petty and callous with each other and not shown the compassion and respect that our fair party is known for. I apologize to you all for my part in that. Today is a new day and we should all turn the page. We don't have to agree on our personal choices for the nominee but we sure can agree on how wonderful it is that we all belong to a party where those two could ( and one will ) take the POTUS and CHANGE our country for the better. We can agree that we are more alike than dis-alike. We can agree that Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are two of the finest candidates that we have EVER put up. They have captured the hearts and minds of 36 MILLION people in our great nation. 36 Million!!! Can you believe it!?!? We have so much to be proud of. Now imagine what we can do together. I'd really like all the idle petty gossip to stop and let's attack the issues. No more anti Obama diaries and no more anti Clinton diaries. Let's attack McCain and the Republicans and build each other up. Let's be democrats again and respect and have each other's backs. Let's get to that change we can believe in bringing solutions for america. Today I am working for Barack's and Hillary's Party. The Democratic Party. The ONLY party with the smarts and intelligence and HEART to put up an AA or a women to the highest office in the World. Cindy don't go picking china or drapes because the White House is Michelle and Bill's house now.

Harriet Christian

Harriet was wonderful and articulate on Fox this afternoon.I pity the folks who slandered and made disgusting comments about her. No one knows what she has gone through in life to get her to where she is today on this journey. I imagine she has seen a lot and has every right to feel the way that she does. She is entitled to her opinion and her voice and fuck anyone who would think otherwise. They reveal more about themselves and their character than they do hers. What she said may have been gruff and probably did not come out the way she intended but her point was quite clear. Shame on you folks for belittling her.
